Black. Considering the fact we are getting ready for colder seasons it is quite clear why designers paid more attention to darker colors. And it’s not surpising at all that black was the most popular. It’s classic, slimming and always looks elegant.

| White. Too much of dark isn’t good. So, white, as a great contrast to black, was nearly everywhere. Why not? It’s cute, feminine and gives a fantastic opportunity to make the world lighter and more exhilarating. Go for this color trend and have a better mood for Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011!

Now curvy women like Crystal Renn, Beyonce and Lara Stone are fighting for the right to be named fashion icons. And they do have success because womanly curves are so attractive. Christina Hendricks isn’t from vogue industry but just like any real woman she loves beautiful clothes. This explains why she stars in Fall 2010 Ad Campaign of London Fog.

London Fog is the world-known U.S. rainwear label that has been producing waterproof garments for over 87 years. To promote their Fall 2010 collection they invited Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks who seems to be the embodiment of beauty and femininity. The choice of the model for the campaign can be explained by the fact the brand has embraced the retro image this seaon. And who can do retro better than Christina Hendricks?

Gisele Looks Horrible In Herve Leger

I thought I would never ever say this. But I’m doing what I should do, because you, my dear readers, deserve to know everything. So, Gisele Bundchen, who has talked a lot about her post-baby exercise, actually overdid with that. And now she looks too thin and unhealthy. The Herve Leger dress that is created to fit tight on any woman looked horrible on her super slim body.

The supermodel appeared wearing the Herve Leger dress at the promotion of Pantene’s environmentally-friendly line of shampoos and conditioners in Sao Paulo. The dress was nude, short and had a low neck. It was supposed to look sexy but it didn’t. It looked baggy and unflattering on Gisele. Her breast area of the dress wasn’t filled and there were huge unsightly wrinkles on the model’s waist and hips.
So, Gisele is like skinny Miranda Kerr or Alessandra Ambrosio now. But we used to like her for feminine curves she had!!!

Women use different ways to attract attention. One acts provocatively, another tries to outshine her rivals by smart sayings and there are ladies who choose the easier but no less effective method – they dress in bright colors. I have made up a list of celebrity women who have worn the brightest dresses in 2010, not in everyday life of course, but on the red carpet.
My list has just 7 positions but they definitely deserve to be mentioned here. So, let’s start.

#1. Angelina Jolie and her blood red Valentino gown. The 35-year-old star wore this designer creation to the premiere of her latest movie Salt in Moscow. The actress looked fabulous and no wonder all the attention was hers!

| #2. Scarlett Johansson and her super chic Dolce & Gabbana dress. The strapless piece looked perfect on the curvy Iron Man 2 actress. Lace trimming added femininity to the look while the tiny black belt complemented to the elegantce of the dress. |

Kim Kardashian, who is known for her curvy figure and incredible fashion sense, has recently said she isn’t going to wear one shoulder black dresses any more.

The one shoulder style has been Kim’s favorite for a pretty long period. And black dresses have become the most common in her wardrobe. Those LBDs looked fabulous on the star but gradually we simply got bored by seeing the same thing again and again. Probably Kim Kardashian realized this at last and decided to change her red carpet options.
She tweeted:
- I’m officially retiring the one shoulder black dress. Over it.”

2010 Teen Choice Awards – Top 3 Dresses

2010 Teen Choice Awards is a big and highly anticipated event. This year it took place on August 8 (Sunday) and was held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. Plenty of celebrities attended the ceremony and some looked happy as they were praised and received prizes.
The lucky ladies at 2010 Teen Choice Awards were Kristen Stewart, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Ashley Greene, Sandra Bullock, Taylor Swift, Zoe Saldana, etc. Unfortunately, Kristen, Taylor and Zoe didn’t appear, otherwise my list of top dresses would be bigger.
However, there were 3 outfits that I liked a lot. Here they are for you to judge:

1. White pretty mini that Selena Gomez wore to 2010 Teen Choice Awards. The frock was simple in design but looked fabulous. The split sleeves were the focus of attention. To match the dress Selena Gomez opted for a pair of nude sandals that wraped her ankles beautifully.

| 2. Stripy chic on Katy Perry. This girl will look perfect in everything. So, this rather ordinary dress looked great on her. Strapless figure-hugging knee-length dress was complemented by a pair of blue Louboutins. |

I have recently discovered that men do know much about lingerie. And they do know what they like about it. While we, women, have lots of suppositions, some of which are far from being true. Though again it’s a matter of taste largely.

ccording to a survey that has been made by American scientists, who love to make researches in all spheres possible, men consider lingerie to be a great packing which make the “present” more attractive and wanted.
It brings intrigue to relationship and is often valued on a subconscious level. Anyway as soon as a man looks at a woman wearing lingerie he knows exactly what he wants from her.
Color
When men were asked about which color for lingerie they preferred more than 50% said they liked red or burgundy.
It’s quite understandable as red is a color of passion and provokes corresponding associations. Woman who opts for red lingerie is perceived as confident, passionate and sexually skillful. She knows how to please herself and her partner.
Black is very popular too. Black lingerie is sexy and at the same time romantic, particularly if the set is almost transparent and all the woman’s curves are seen beautifully.

Some guys love white lingerie, snowy white, not dirty or pale white. White has always been a symbol of innocence.
Women of the past used to wear only white lingerie because each had just one partner in her live – her husband.
Now times have changes and girls’ virginity and faithfulness is no longer as appreciated as before but men still like white lingerie as ever.
Pink and blue lingerie is NOT attractive, men say. So, dear girls don’t think that if you think it’s cute your partner will think the same. |
